SPILL RESPONSE AND CONTAINMENT
RKM EnviroClean has responded to a wide variety of sites involving spill response and containment. These sites have included rivers, streams, as well as piping and culvert containment for various released substances. We have also visited sites involving hazardous and non-hazardous materials and blood borne pathogens including equipment/property as well as sites involving container repackaging and over packing with hazardous materials, reactive materials, and non-hazardous materials. We also provide clandestine meth lab clean-up.
MATERIAL TRANSPORTATION AND PROPER DISPOSAL AND MANIFESTING
RKM EnviroClean provides material transportation and proper disposal services for hazardous and non-hazardous waste. RKM EnviroClean has experienced personnel in providing waste manifest, transportation and disposal services.
TRAINING OF PERSONNEL
All personnel have been trained according to 29 CFR 1910.120 for work on uncontrolled hazardous waste sites and emergency response (HAZWOPER). In addition, most personnel have been trained in permit-required confined spaces, blood borne pathogens, hot work, fire safety, electrical safety, lock-out-tag-out, hazard communication, respirator protection and personal protective equipment according to 29 CFR, rail car safety, and RKM EnviroClean’s safety rules. Also our Project Manger is certified in FEMA IS-00100 Introduction to the Incident Command System, FEMA IS-00800 National Response Plan, FEMA IS-00700 National Incident Management System and FEMA IS-0200.FW Basic Incident Command System for Federal Disaster Workers.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
RKM EnviroClean stocks a full complement of booms, pads, absorbent, harbor booms etc. to complete most any project. A Photo-ionization Gas Detector along with various Gas and Chemical detectors are kept certified on a timely basis. Emergency response trucks and trailers, heavy equipment, fuel-water separators, pumps, tanks etc. are owned by RKM EnviroClean and are located on our yard to be dispatched in a timely matter. RKM EnviroClean currently has a reciprocity agreement with two very reputable response companies that allows all companies to respond fluidly in case of shortages of manpower or equipment.
